5. VILLA KEA – KERA APOKORONAS
Renovation Project
Villa KEA in Kera of Apokoronas was recently renovated by the company Benakis Constructions. Specifically, the main frame of the building was preserved, but the two separate floors became one, creating a gap in the slab (between the two floors). A new concrete staircase and wood cladding was created and communication between the two floors was achieved.
Suspended ceilings were built for better lighting management. All interior floors were covered with real wood except the bathrooms, which were completely renovated and tiled with quality A tiles. New sanitary ware was added to them. The bedrooms have custom-made wardrobes (open and closed), mirrors and washbasin furniture, as well as a wooden back for the beds. Also, a new kitchen was built with a solid wood countertop and cabinets in matte water texture.
Externally, a new stone barbeque was created with a bench made of pressed cement mortar. The barbeque includes an oven, grill and sink. Part of which was lined with stone. Also, Karystos stone was laid around the pool area and in various parts of the yard. The ramp for access to the pool has been removed and replaced with steps. To the right and left of the new staircase (stairs) were built stone walls to create “flower beds” to achieve the remodeling of the access from the house to the pool and vice versa.
Finally, the entire area of the plot was cleaned and demarcated and an access to a lower point overlooking the bay of Almyrida was created through a staircase. All the above works were completed by the experienced crews of our company from the required earthworks to the delivery of the renovated house to the customer.
